At Restore Psychology, we believe that the world is imperfect and unfortunate events happen to good people, contradicting our intended purpose. The weight of adverse life experiences affects our well-being. We believe in a holistic approach to mental health that aims to restore the mind, body, and spirit to it's natural order. Our therapists are trained to provide compassionate evidence-based care that is grounded in Christian principles. We understand that each person's journey is unique and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our clients to explore their inner selves and grow.
Our Approach
Mind, Body, and Spirit
At Restore Psychology, we believe that optimal mental health is most attainable when the focus of treatment is on the whole person – Body, Mind, and Spirit, along with the connection between these three parts. Treatment planning at Restore begins by addressing the needs of these three parts, and is completed when goals are established to equip your mind with wisdom and cognitive flexibility, your body with rejuvenation and healing, and your spirit with perfect peace and secure presence.
Christian Perspective
Our clinicians operate from a Christian perspective, guided by principles of faith, compassion, and grace. We believe that integrating values into therapy provides clients with a unique opportunity for holistic healing and growth. Clients can explore their beliefs, values, and identity within the context of their faith and work towards psychological well-being without stigmatization.
Evidence-Based Therapy
While we believe in the power of spirituality to support mental health, we also rely on evidence-based therapy techniques to guide our practice. Our therapists are trained in a variety of research supported therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Attachment based Psychodynamic approaches.
